The Member of Parliament for new Juaben North Hon. Hackman Owusu Agyemang has commissioned an ICT centre with fifty five computers in Koforidua Effiduase for the basic schools in that area to enhance the quality of education, teaching and learning.
He emphasized that his vision was to ensure that schools in the constituency have the needed resources like library block and ICT centers to upgrade the knowledge of the students.
He added that the finance for the computers was from his MP common fund.
Hon. Hackman Owusu Agyemang pleaded with the chief of effiduase, teachers and students to give due attention to the computers, ensure that the computers last long and to use it for the very purpose.
The municipal director of education Madam Dories Abann who expressed her gratitude to the Hon. Hackman Owusu for his brilliant initiative, promised to take very good care of the computers, ensuring that it is used for the very purpose and ensure that students are well equipped with ICT.
