Hearts of Oak left-back, Isaac Oduro has expressed his delight in returning from injury after several weeks of absence.

Oduro has been one of the best players in the Hearts of Oak set up, despite the club’s poor show in last season’s league.

The former Okwaku Utd defender who joined Hearts of Oak last season is not only a defender but a player who has eyes for goals.

The 24 year old enforcer scored 4 goals in all competitions but ahead of the club’s preparations for the 2015/16 league season, Oduro suffered an injury which ruled him out of training for close three weeks.

The free kick expert has finally recovered and says he is delighted to return from injury as the club’s pre-season heats up.

“I am very delighted that I joined the club for the pre-season after sustaining an injury last month. It is the desire of every player to be fit and am happy I am with my team mates,” Oduro told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“My hope was that I had to impress the new coach in the pre-season and I am doing exactly that. I am really happy.”
