He said lack of veterinary service had led to the death of livestock of many farmers in the community which had seriously affected their standards of living.

Disclosing this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Narteh said, as a result of the current developments, the Association has plans to train some of it’s members in bee-keeping and mushrooms rearing, to help enhance their living standards.

Mr Narteh explained that the association lacked support from banks and micro finance companies to help them boost their businesses.

He, therefore, urged the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to come to their aid.
