Malaysian Home Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi confirmed that parliament member and former special envoy to the United States Jamaluddin Jarjis was among the six people on board the helicopter which crashed in Semenyih, Kajang, about 40 kilometers southeast of Kuala Lumpur.
The others were businessman Robert Tan, Azlin Alias, who was private secretary general in the Prime Minister’s Office, a pilot, co-pilot and a bodyguard.
It is learnt that a distress call was received by Fire and Rescue Department of Slengor at about 5:00 p.m. and over 20 firemen were deployed to assist in the search. Enditem
