Cagliari boss Massimo Rastelli has warned young Ghana midfielder Godfred Donsah to step or risk being rotten on the bench.
The 19-year-old was dropped as the Seria B side posted a comprehensive 5-0 win over Entella in the Coppa Italia over lack of focus.
Manager Rastelli says the Ghana Under-20 midfielder is getting carried away by repeated interest shown by Juventus and Chelsea.
The youngster is operating at a slow pace this term following concerns the growing interest from some of Europe?s elite clubs are taking a toll on him.
And he has been warned to step up to the plate.
?Godfred is not at his best at the moment,? he said.
?When he trains as I want I will review his position in the team and he is aware of this.?
Donsah, hugely regarded as carbon-copy of Michael Essien, rode into prominence after a fabulous season with the relegated Italian side last term.
He featured for Ghana at the 2015 World Youth Championship where he failed to impress by his standard.
