News reaching us has it that Nollywood actress, Mercy J has been banned by marketers for charging too high amount to star in movies.
She’s the highest paid actress in the industry at the moment with her fees ranging between N1.8 to N2m per movie.
This has made the Nollywood Movie Marketers Association to place a ban on the actress just like they did to
Genevieve, Ramson Noah and others years back.
But the actress is said to have already been booked till the end of the year before the banning order came. So she has to be through with those she’d signed up for before it takes effect.
Meanwhile, the actress took to Twitter to reply the marketers. She said those who can’t afford her fees should go for lesser actresses whose fees aren’t as high as hers.
