Rabiu Mohammed believes Ghana can easily qualify to the 2014 World Cup
By Patrick Akoto
Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed is optimistic the Black Stars can ?easily? qualify to the 2014 World Cup without sweat.
The Black Stars lie second in group D after recording one win and a defeat in the opening two qualifying matches.
They demolished Lesotho 7-0 before they were brought down to earth by African Champions Zambia in Ndola last month.
There have been calls for sweeping changes to be made to the squad ahead of the next phase of the qualifiers in 2013 with demands for experienced players to be recalled into the team.
But the France-based midfielder insists the road to Brazil 2014 will be an easy ride.
?I don?t? see any problem with our qualification. Trust me I believe we?ll qualify for the World Cup easily,? Mohammed said
?Despite the fact that we lost to Zambia, there is no cause for alarm. It was a wakeup call and we?ll truly live up to our standards in the coming matches.
?The difference between us and the other countries is that we get results when it matters most. We have done that in the past and so it won?t be different this time around.
?Those who think the road to Brazil will be tough, should relax and leave the rest to us (players).?
The Thollon Gaillard enforcer watched the two games from the bench after he was called up for the June qualifiers.
