The Mikaddo Conference Centre is to establish an Executive Aerobics Centre in Accra to offer Chief Executive Officers, Directors and Senior Managers of corporate institutions the opportunity to train, refresh and rejuvenate for job productivity.
The venture, which is in partnership with the El-Wak Keep Fit Club would also help improve upon the lifestyle of corporate leaders, leading to a sound mind.
Miss Ama Addo Agyekum, Chief Operations Officer of the Centre, disclosed this at the swearing-in of new executive officers of the El-Wak Keep Fit Club in Accra on Saturday.
The executives, who are to run the affairs of the club for a four-year term are Mr. Emmanuel Tettey Adamitey, Chairman, Madam Rejoice Adoboi, Vice Chairperson, Mr. Godwin Annan, Secretary, Nana Aba Clifford Wirrom, Women’s Organizer, Mr. Andy Osai, Organising Secretary and Mr. Francis Akatia Kwaidoo, Public Relations Officer.
Miss Agyekum said the Centre when completed would provide aerobic trial sessions for leadership of various institutions to train on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
She presented m a cheque for an amount of Ghc204,000.00 as part of the sponsorship package deal.
Mr. Prince Debrah, outgoing Chairman of the Club entreated the new executive officers to exhibit exemplary leadership that had defined the club for decades and to lead the club to new heights.
Mr. Adamitey on his part said his administration was going to reform the club through digitilization and the introduction of models such as an active social media presence and release of their activities on You Tube for use by families.
He added that the pursuit of education al campaigns creation of job opportunities ad games with other keep fit clubs were key on his agenda.
