Former President Rawlings
As the June 4th ceremony goes on,Former President Rawlings has unravel the logo issue as the founder of the party. According to him, some senior members of then newly former National Democratic Congress had suggested as an axe whiles others suggested a sheep to be used as the logo.Explaining further,he said his wife suggested an umbrella as the logo for the NDC due to its symbolism of protection.
Well,as the founder,it is imperative we acknowledge his assertion of his wife’s role in choosing the logo for the party. The ceremony is in a good run in contrast with the arguement by others that it neednt take place at Aflao for fear of influence of the ruling government
