NDC is an obstruction to Ghana?s progress

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary aspirant for Ayawaso West Wuogon Emmanuel Kwabena Agyarko says the ruling NDC is an obstacle to the progress of Ghana.

He contended that the government has for the past close to four years demonstrated that it has no solution to the untold hardships it has inflicted on Ghanaians.

Kwabena Agyarko was speaking on Asempa FM?s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday.

The NDC is at a crossroads as its founder Jerry Rawlings has openly declared support for his wife, Nana Konadu who is now the flag-bearer of the breakaway National Democratic Party (NDP).

But Kwabena Agyarko,a panelist on the programme maintained that Ghanaians did not vote for the NDC to use the nation?s resources to resolve what he says are their ?never ending squabbles? at the expense of the deteriorating economy.

According to him, the NDC sees the power struggle within the ruling party as more important than solving the rising cost of living, unbearable hardships and widespread poverty in the country.

Former Chief Executive Officer of the Food and Drugs Board added a second term for the NDC will make Ghana chaotic.

The Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary aspirant said the NPP is the only party that can rescue Ghanaians from undue hardship they are facing under the NDC.

The NPP man said voting for the NDC in 2008 has given Ghanaians a real opportunity to assess the two parties and now know which of them best served the interest of the country.

Kwabena Agyarko was optimistic Ghanaians assessment of the Mahama-led administration will bring the NPP back to power.
