
Dr Nduom presented a cheque for the said amount during Team Ghana’s visit to his officee.
The presentation, according to Dr Nduom, is to support and motivate the athletes ahead of the Olympics games, which begin next month.
Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) President Prof Francis Dodoo received the presentation on behalf of the team.
Ghana will be participating in four disciplines in this year’s games. The team for Rio comprises 11 track and field athletes, two swimmers, one weightlifter, one judoka, and a boxer.
