Midfielder Obed Ansah has praised striker Mahatma Otoo for his form
Hearts of Oak midfielder Obed Ansah has hailed striker Mahatma Otoo for his season changing exploits which lifted the Phobians from relegation zone to top four contenders.
The 21-year-old finished the season as the top scorer in the Ghana Premier League scoring 22 goals in all competition to beat Emmanuel Baffour?s record last season.
Otoo hit a stunning hat-trick to condemn Tema Youth to relegation on Sunday and ensured the 2000 African champions finish in 5th place missing out narrowly on the fourth place to Ebusua Dwarfs.
Ansah who rejoined the 19 time champions in the second half of the season says Otoo was a greater influence on Hearts? season.
?He was great in the season you know. He scored important goals for the club and we are happy for his exploits,? he said.
Otoo is linked with a move to Belgian clubs Anderlecht and KRC Genk.
