
The Public Information Officer, National Emergency Management Agency, (NEMA), Mr. Farinloye Ibrahim has hinted our reporter that the remains of the nine victims involved in the disaster of a petrol tanker fully laden with 33,000 litres of PMS on Tuesday have been deposited at the Yaba General Hospital, Lagos.
Ibrahim also said, “the wounded are better now after the first treatment. Meanwhile, 54 shops situated in the 4 buildings were completely destroyed.”
Daily Times reported that the incident occurred at Cement bus stop, along Mile 2 express road, Apapa, Lagos.
The taker caught fire at about 10:45pm on Tuesday, January 7 after it somersaulted but the fire was put out by the combined team of federal and state fire services.
