Police had issued a 200,000 yuan (US$30,000) reward for 40-year old Xiong Yunshi after he allegedly stabbed a police officer to death, in what appears to have been a random attack, on Saturday in his home town in Jiangxi.
It’s being reported that after the inital attack on the officer, the suspect then went back to his home, where he attacked two of his neighbors that he is said to have had previous disputes with.
Both were critically injured, but are expected to survive.
40-year old Xiong Yunshi is considered a violent individual, having been jailed previously for intentional injury and theft.
