A specially compiled compendium to guide beginners journey through the Celestial Church of Church (CCC) titled: Preparing for His Kingdom made its first public presentation in Nigeria, Saturday, November 2nd, 2013.
The book authored by Superior Evangelist Michael Bakare is his first paperwork edition printed 2013 in the United Kingdom.
The book written with references to the Holy Bible, the CCC Constitution, the CCC Order of Service and the CCC Hymn Book, offers more insight in its foreword.
The foreword reads: “Your foundation must be established upon the word of God. Study the bible regularly. His word would add purpose to your worship, value to your life and insight into your relationship with God.
“This guide was compiled to help new members of Celestial Church of Christ through their journey in the body of Christ.”
Speaking with Daily Times, Prophet Bakare, said the book, “the whole point of the book is to remind people that it’s not about the miracles, it’s not about getting rich, it’s about having a comfortable life, it’s about preparing for the kingdom. It’s got a section of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) issues regarding women’s positions in the church, about wearing white, not wearing shoes, it’s not to appeal to anybody because you can’t.
“The idea is to open the eyes of people who are actually new members so they understand a bit more about the church rather than growing in the church and living in ignorance. This book is a guideline for new members of the church as well as a resource for people who want to know more about the church.”
However, the book creates a baseline understanding of the liturgy and rites of the church and how it parallels with heavenly worship. Helping to draw attention to church doctrine but focusing on the ultimate reward of attaining the kingdom of God. It highlights fundamental strategies to Godly living and roles you can play in the body of Christ.
Other men of God who graced the event are: Brother Ademola Bolaji, Superior Evangelist Lateef Akanji, Superior Evangelist Tunde Ogunro, Superioe Evangelist T. Adewusi, among others.
