At the hearing of R2B?s newest single, ?ODO? especially, Mugeez verse and chorus, one could easily mistake his part for Okrasinee Samuel of Mentor fame. Rumour has it that the Puu-nana man contributed to the song but in a chat with Paedae, the half duo of the group, he says he do not know who that person is neither his Mugeez.
?We?ve been told that he?s claiming my brother stole his style but trust me we?ve not heard any of his song and we don?t even know how he looks like.?
Friends of R2B?s admit that the song has some similarities with Okrasinee way of singing but strongly attest to the fact that the duo?s style is out of the hook. Making fun of the name Okrasinee (villager), they said they wouldn?t be surprise if the dude comes out with a single because Odo has highlighted, reviving his faded fame in a way.
Released two months ago with other singles like Bayla Trap and Life (walaahi), ODO is gaining much airplay. And speaking with them over the weekend, the gems say they have the flare to ?kill? any genre of song should they decide on another in their next single. ?We did this for the aged most especially and just like the R. Kelly thing watch out for our gospel that will be sang in churches. All effort to get Okrasinee?s side of the story proved futile.
The group will be launching a condom label tagged: ?Refuse to be Broke? in December. And as to why condom, they said; ?Everyone is going the fashion way forgetting that HIV/AID must be prevented. We care much about your life so we decided on this bullet and as a guy, you got to live with the principal; don?t shoot your gun without a bullet else?? they smile.
