The Former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church Reverend Prof. Emmanuel Martey is calling on pastors whose prophecies ahead of the December 7 polls failed to spare Ghanaians of more of their falsehood and bow their heads in shame.
According to him, pastors who prophesied that the newly sworn-in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo cannot reach the presidency should immediately shut up.
Rev Martey believes these false prophets prophesied just to promote their churches by deceiving the public.
‘God speaks though his people, but some people speak out of their own imagination.
Jesus said by their fruits we shall know them. Those who prophesied and it never came through should shut up,’ he said this on GHOne.
