Charlie Sloth will take the 1Xtra Drivetime slot from September and the notoriously hard to read Tim Westwood took to Twitter today to let his fans know that he was fired. The popular and hilarious DJ has found himself in the news of late following a controversial rave.
We will miss Westwood’s Drivetime show, but will be supporting Charlie Sloth, a longtime friend of new RWD editor Danny Walker.
1Xtra confirmed the changes via the BBC Media Centre this afternoon.
