Abiola Bawuah, Managing Director (MD) of UBA Ghana, on Thursday paid a brief visit to the offices of Western Group of Companies in Accra.
The MD, who was welcomed by Gina Blay, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Western Group of Companies, said her visit was to obtain first-hand information about the operations of media personnel and establish good working relations with them in order to reach the unbanked population of Ghana.
She mentioned that she would take the bank to new heights, exceed customer expectations with quick and improved service delivery as part of her goals, and also focus greatly on UBA?s core values ? humility, empathy, integrity and resilience.

Mrs Blay, on her part, commended the MD for her visit and assured her that the media would partner banking institutions, as well as other businesses to improve Ghana?s economy.
She therefore called on all banks and corporate organizations to consider the media as an indispensable partner that should be assisted in various ways to carry the good news of industry players to the public.
