The Bali island paradise of approximately 144 km (90 mi.) from east to west and 80 km (50 mi.) north to south, totally surrounded by oceans, boasts of not only of Bali luxury villas but also of spectacular beaches with great surfing and diving. Along with Bali’s friendly, hospitable people, abundant breathtaking panoramic landscape and a magnificently visual culture infused with spirituality, it’s no wonder that Bali is an unrivaled number one tourist attraction.

If you want the sun, sand, sea and surf while staying in luxurious Bali villas for rent, Bali is the place for you!

Bali is blessed with a beautiful nature, with most of Bali’s shores fringed by endless sand beaches, where silvery waves come home to.

Bali’s beaches are magnificent, from the stretch of sand in Kuta, the spectacular beaches in Jimbaran, or the white sands and crystal waters of Nusa Dua to the mysterious quietness and somberness of Candidasa, as a temple dedicated to the sea goddess submerges or the spectacular sunsets of Lovina in the North, with even many Bali villas set a few steps away.

Good for swimming, surfing, or just lounging sunbathing on the sand by the many villas for rent Bali and hotel guests, Bali’s beaches are best enjoyed during the dry season, from about April to October.

Here are some of Bali’s magnificent beaches:

Kuta Beach

One of Bali’s major tourist destinations aside from its Bali villas rent, Kuta Beach stretch on the southwestern side of Bali, 5 to 10 minute drive from Denpasar or the airport.

Kuta beach is known for its broad and long sandy beach and its dream like surf-conditions with quite harmless waves. Surfing is a major activity.

Geger Beach

One of Bali’s top beach destinations in recent years, Geger Beach boasts of the most beautiful calm turquoise-blue water and pristine white-golden sand with minimal vendors. Located on the eastern side of the Bukit Peninsula Geger Beach is ideal for families with young kids, as the beach is protected from waves and is comfortable. Geger is one of the few beaches at which topless sunbathing is allowed.

Nusa Dua

A new luxurious resort area, Nusa Dua is known for its white sandy beaches and crystal clear water that provides an excellent snorkeling and diving site. The waves on the northern and the southern part of Nusa Dua allow for great surfing opportunity. Nusa Dua also showcases the world’s most sumptuous hotels gracefully integrate into the beautiful white beaches.

Pantai Berawa Canggu

A local beach that is reasonably close to Kuta, Pantai Berawa boasts of light brown sand which is fairly clean. As one explores Pantai Berawa, one can see low scrub and trees at the back of the beach. With a windy atmosphere, Pantai Berawa and the whole Canggu beach boast of an attraction of watching as the waves crash in. One has the option of sipping an iced tea at Legong Keraton which is very pleasant and relaxing. Though souvenir vendors hang around the entrance to the beach, but on the beach it’s pretty deserted.

Padang Padang

Located around the next point from Uluwatu, Padang Padang has decent sand, with a coral reef protecting the beach from big waves. When the tide is out, you could actually walk around, but when the tide is in you’ll be able to swim.
