Every Ghanaian who earns as low as CH5.00 a day can now boast of a decent home with the luxury of a healthy living environment.
African Call Institute (ACI), a non-state organization has unveiled the first completed affordable house as a demonstration of its preparedness to reshape Ghana by providing a minimum standard of living particularly, to under-privileged people.

The press were told that the completed building, after a maximum of three months of construction and furnishing was estimated at CH5000.
The president of African Call Institute (ACI), Nana Bafour Nsenkyire Akosa II at press conference said ACI was borne out of the challenges people went through in making life worth-living in Ghana therefore, the focus was to solve the African problem by taking people out of poverty.
According to him, government cannot satisfy the needs of this nation by solving all our national problem in order to make life comfortable for the people.
He indicated that ACI came up with the affordable housing and regeneration program to use lands that are misapplied for a recreational of buildings that will suit the desires of people.
The President of ACI added that ACI is very much concern about the sleeping place of the middle-income earner who cannot afford a decent home that comes with its basic necessities because of poverty.
Therefore, he said, ACI, after of 5years of establishment came up with this project to provide decent but cheaper and flexible payment terms that will bring every Ghanaian onboard to uplift their standard of living.
He mentioned that the program will seek to renew hope by demonstrating new possibilities and opportunities, working to change formally installed ideas, culture and the institutional framework and environment that have evolved to become contributors to regressive development

Nana Bafour Nsenkyire Akosa II added that ACI in collaboration with Sokpoe limited (Traditional Council and People in Sokpoe), Taquan Ghana Limited and local and diaspora Pan Africanist Organizations are in the process of laying the foundation of the first ever Pan African City, which is to be named Volta City.
Energy Development program
ACI has been contracted by a client to develop an electrical system that will take the client partially off the national grid. ACI envisages that about 20% of consumers of electricity in Ghana are those that can afford to be removed of the national grid. In the short term, this will be able to reduce the pressure on the national grid and make this income group self-sufficient in the production of a substantial part of their electricity consumption.
ACI has also sourced the development of small Hydro-electricity generators for community electricity generation. The future of ACI?s other interventions into the energy sector will be mind blowing.
Other its seven development strategies includes mining and economic development strategy, incorporation of Ghana (urban, sub-urban areas/ communities and villages), A Land Management Program and Youth in Agriculture- The ACI Seed Program.
The Africa Call Institute (ACI) is a membership think tank of the nationalities of Africa, peoples of African descent, which thus includes all humanity and is represented by persons or opinion makers who assume a functional role towards the development of Africa, have Africa at heart and have dedicated their acquired literary, scientific and technological tools towards accepting the responsibility of bringing Africa and Africans back into the mainstream of global humanity.
