A group of school children are blaming Afari Gyan for conniving with the party in power to rig elections in their favour.
Wielding placards that bear inscriptions such as ?our free education is gone,? the children believe they would have had free education under the reign of a certain political party if it had come to power. But beleaguered Afari Gyan tells them that they should not blame him because he has not done anything wrong. He also told them they should not believe in any politician but concentrate on their studies, saying the fact that there is no free education doesn?t mean they can?t go to school.
But why would some people decide to mop Afari Gyan? Why should they torment him and molest him this way? The above is an excerpted piece from the storyline of yet-to-be-released ?Afari Gyan Awia Me? movie that features Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin. Having watched the soundtrack that features William, Andy and Oteniba, one cannot help laughing at ?Afari Gyan?s? antics.
Already, some people are reading several meaning into this movie, linking it to some key political parties in the country and the protracted court hearing that emanated from the results of the 2012 general elections. As to what really the movie sets to achieve, it is only up to the producer Mr. Samuel Nyamekye of Miracle Films who has been incommunicado when we tried reaching him. In the meantime, we wait to see how the public responds to this movie when it is finally released onto the market.
