Black Stars head coach Avram Grant has called on the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), to impose stiffer punishments on Guinea goalkeeper Naby Moussa Yattara for the violent tackle on Asamoah Gyan last Sunday.wpid-AvramGrant2012.jpg

Goalkeeper Yattara, visited a violent tackle on Gyan in the dying minutes of the game and there are indications that, the captain might not be available for the next game against Equatorial Guinea on Thursday.

Speaking to the press on Monday, Grant said, the goalkeeper does not deserve to be in football again because his conduct was unsporting.

?It was a deliberate tackle on Gyan by the goalkeeper. He went in for the player and not the ball and CAF must look at the video again and impose the necessary sanctions on him.

?I will be surprised if CAF does not give him further sanctions though he was sent off by the referee in the game. We are waiting on the Disciplinary Committee of CAF to come out with their ruling soon.?

Meanwhile checks by the GNA Sports from the CAF secretariat reveals that, they were yet to receive the referees report after the match on Sunday.

CAF is expected to analyse the report before taking any decision on the conduct of the goalkeeper.
