The suspected armed robbers have created their new improvised shooting range at the Ramsar site in Tema, some 35 kilometers east of the capital, local media reported on Monday.
The state-run Daily Graphic quoted Assistant Superintendent of Police in Tema, Juliana Obeng, as saying that during a search at the shooting range, the police found one shot gun and 72 empty plastic bottles that were used as targets by the subjects.
The discovery followed a robbery attack at the heavy industrial area in Tema on Saturday where a steel company was looted. Enditem
