Kaduna State Deputy Governor Ambassador Nuhu Audu Bajoga yesterday visited Sanga LGA were 10 people were killed during Christmas celebration and appealed to the people of the area to remain clam and law abiding.

Tattaura is a community in Ancha District of Ninzo Chiefdom. The village is two km east of Gwantu, the Local Government headquarters that has experienced more than 1,500 killings by terrorist this year.

Bajoga during the visit to Tattaura expressed dismay that another community could be attacked so soon  despite the recent agreement signed by various ethnic groups, women, youths, community leaders and stakeholders to halt attacks.

The Deputy Governor assured the people of Sanga of government commitment to protecting their communities, adding that security has been beefed up in the area.

Bajoga encouraged the people not to desert their villages, saying that they must remain and help the security with intelligence reports that could lead to the arrest of the attackers.

” The government sympathies with you over what happened this festive season. But it is surprising because only recently i was here and the various communities signed agreement to live in peace with one another. These  unknown gunmen must be fished and it is our responsibility to help security agencies do their work. Please do not leave your villages, we are doing all we can to ensure maximum security prevail,” Bajoga said.
