Berekum Arsenals coach Emmanuel Sarfo is confident his side will preserve their top-flight status after they beat Aduana Stars to move out of the drop zone.
The gunners recorded a surprise 2-1 win at the Agyeman Badu Park on Sunday to move a point above Mighty Jets who have now slipped into the bottom three.
Arsenals have been flirting with relegation since the start of the Ghana Premier League this season but with six games to spare, their coach says their victory at Aduana has rekindled their confidence to beat the drop.
“The win at Aduana is very precious and we’ll continue to take it from there and ensure that we stay in the top-flight,” Sarfo told GHANAsoccernet.com
“Our fans have suffered enough and I believe the time to change our fortunes has started.
“After winning at a difficult place like Aduana, the confidence of my players has gone up since they know they can grind out results anywhere provided they remain focus,”
Arsenals will next tackle All Stars at the Golden City Park on April 25 as the league gradually reaches home stretch.
