Addae, a member of Ghana’s U-20 squad that won gold in the 2009 FIFA World Cup, said with his current form and qualities, he’s got what it takes to represent Ghana.
‘‘I have the qualities to don the national colours and I’m awaiting an invitation to be part of the squad. I’m fit and a Ghanaian’’.
He said his defensive qualities and hard work at club level merits a call-up .
As part of efforts to give back to society, he organized a match involving Addae professionals XI and Yehowa XI, where he presented a set of jerseys and two footballs to Yehowa XI at the town Council line Park in Accra, where he started his footballing career.
He said he decided to organize the exhibition match to motivate the players to work extra harder.
Addae made 33 appearances for his club and scored four goals in the Italian Serie B league, which helped his side to avoid relegation.
