The conference is part of the institute’s mission to improve on the performance of marketers, professionals and administrators within corporate Ghana. The theme for the conference; “Democracy and National Cohesion: Marketing a new Political Paradigm.”
Mr. Kwabena Akuamoah Agyekum, the Executive Director of CIMG said the conference seeks to promote the CIMG advocacy mission to impact on professional, corporate organizations and officialdom.
He mentioned that four resource persons are billed to present papers over the two day event covering very exciting and insightful segments of the theme under the chairmanship of the Marketing Woman for Year 2015, Ms. Maidie Elizabeth Arkutu, Managing Director of Unilever and Dr. Doris Dartey, a Media Consultant. Mr. Agyekum said the speakers will include Mr. Komi S. Klu, Financial Services Executive.
He will speak on managing political risk in sub-Sahara Africa. Discussants are: Professor Kwame Gyeke of University of Ghana; Nana Osei K. Darkwa, President of the Ghana Technology University College; and Mrs. Helen Annan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brand Ghana.
He said the participants will include politicians, professionals, civil society organizations and other groups of people.
“We appeal to all stakeholders to join us to make the event a successful one by promoting peace that is needed for politicians to rule, professional to practice their professions and civil society to engage in their daily activities in serenity,” he added.
“We are aware that your interest for a peaceful Ghana is paramount and therefore urge you to make time out of your busy schedule to join us in this patriotic crusade,” he urged the politicians.
