Czech police on Saturday ruled out a terrorist motive over a bomb threat on a plane which took an emergency landing in Prague.
The detained 68-year-old Polish man, who was suspected of scare mongering and endangering an aircraft, claimed that he was listening to God, according to Foreign Police spokeswoman Katerina Rendlova.
The man has been taken into custody, but no accusation has been levelled against him as yet.
The plane was flying from the Canary Islands of Spain to Warsaw on Friday night.
The pilot reported that a man on board claimed there was a bomb aboard the plane and it would explode if the plane landed in Warsaw.
No one was injured in the incident, and no material damage was caused. All the 159 passengers who had to stay overnight in Prague left aboard a substitute plane of the Polish Enter Air carrier on Saturday morning. Enditem
