In a year of music where only one mainstream artist went platinum, it seems that just about everything released until now has been filled with a set of narcissistic lyrics, a demeaning hook, and/or a replica of drum patterns to match the last.
Enter “One Night in Amsterdam”, a conceptual passionately-aggressive body of sound led by the vocals of The Weeknd and masterminded by Dashius Clay.
Though most are familiar with Dashius as an artist himself, he has also produced a numerous amount of records for some of music’s biggest names like Kendrick Lamar, Chief Keef, Curren$y, and Rockie Fresh to name a few. ONIA takes place in Amsterdam and takes you through a journey of love, lust, and loss. You’re going to want to book your flight immediately after and find out for yourself.
