Ghana striker David Accam grabbed the headlines with his goal celebration in Helsinborg?s 2-1 win over GAIS in the Swedish Cup quarter-final on Saturday.
Accam leveled for Helsinborg on 50 minutes after going down in the 6th minute through Bobby Warshaw.
He then took off his boot to ?give me a call? to his mother who is back home in his native in Ghana.
??I called home to mom ? it is a new technology in this shoe,? Accam jokingly said about his celebration.
He added that his brothers keep a close eye on how things are going for him through the Internet.
?Yes, this was the best game in the preseason,? said Accam.
