Okwahu United coach Stephen Abugri believes new signing Eric Gawu will make an immediate impact in the second-tier League.
The 29-year-old has signed a six-month deal with the former Premier League campaigners in a move to revive his flagging career.
The former Hearts of Oak striker will be involved during the second half of the season and coach Abugri is confident he can power the mountaineers back to the top of Ghana Football.
?I recommended the signing of Gawu for Okwahu United because I know his qualities,? Abugri said
?He is not an indiscipline player. When I took over this job, I was told I will have difficulty dealing with Dan Coleman.
?But I tell you, he (Coleman) is one of the most discipline players in my team.
?When you?re a coach you should be able to manage the ego of players. I am teacher and so know how to work with different characters.
?He?s not the only player in the team. He will get support from his colleagues.
?He is a good buy for us and I believe he will be able to bang in the much needed goals for us.
United are locked up in third in zone 3B in the National Division One League table.
