The only way one can be appreciated by his master is to serve him with faithfulness throughout one?s service on earth, Rev Michael Nana Benyin Arhin, resident Pastor of Word Miracle Church International (WMCI) branch at Amasaman (Royal City) said last Sunday.
The minister of the gospel advised pastors to be fully devoted and committed to the things of God.
Delivering his post 25th Anniversary sermon, Rev Arhin advised fellow minister of the gospel to learn to forego their desire of making quick money irrespective of the way they may be treated by their head Pastors.
The occasion witnessed the honouring of long serving and faithful pastors of the church with certificates of honour.
The presentation was divided into four (4) categories: first, those who had served for ten to fifteen years and secondly fifteen to seventeen years of services.
The other categories were those pastors who have faithfully served for eighteen to twenty and from twenty and above.
To Pastor Arhin, head Pastors are normal human beings who can make mistake at any time just like any other person.
?So my fellow pastors you should not feel disappointed if you are ill-treated by your superiors but rather keep on being faithful to them for the bible says in the book of Matthew 1: 6 that ?take notice you do not take your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise yee have no reward of your father who is heaven.??
He also counseled against pastors being in haste to form their own churches because they thought and believed they could preach??Remember the book of Luke 16: 12 says ?if you are not faithful in another man?s own no one will be faithful to your own.??
Pastor Arhin received a certificate of nineteen years of service which was presented to him by the co-founder of WMCI, Rev Mrs. Vivian Agyin- Asare.
Pastor Arhin took the opportunity to thank the Presiding Bishop of the church, Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare, and the entire church body that has contributed in diverse ways in making the program a success.
