— The over 600,000 workers who make up Kenya’s public sector are set to enjoy a salary increase from July. Under a new pay structure for the civil service, the salaries commission has recommended a pay rise, with the least paid worker set to earn some 114 U.S. dollars and the highest up to 4,800 dollars a month.
