The confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ghana have climbed to 132 with three deaths recorded, Ghana Health Service (GHS) said here on Thursday.

The great majority of the confirmed cases are Ghanaians, who returned from affected countries, GHS said, adding that 970 contacts have been identified and are being tracked.

All the deaths were aged who had underlying chronic medical conditions, said GHS.

The Ghanaian government has taken a raft of measures to combat the pandemic including public school suspension and a ban on international flights. Enditem
