Former Attorney General Martin Amidu made allegations to that effect, together with a raft of others, against Mr Anas and also called him a ‘criminal’ for using a ‘fraudulent’ company to conduct illegal surveillance on Ghanaian citizens.

He also said the Government is attempting to suppress the showing of a similar corruption video involving Parliament.
According to Mr Amidu, Anas and his Tiger Eye PI firm are working with Government to divert attention from legislative corruption by focusing his lenses on the judiciary, alone.
Speaking for the first time on the issue, the investigative journalist told the BBC’s Sammy Darko in an interview that: “Most of the allegations that he has made about the fact that I entered into a contract with the Executive to do this judiciary [exposé] and all that are all unsubstantiated.”
“It is better that when he says things, he backs [them] with evidence,” Anas said.
The Chief Justice has set up a five-member committee to probe the 22 Magistrates and 12 high court justices implicated in the scandal.
“Look I’m before the committee every day; I sit with lawyers grilling me left and right; and subjecting me to strict proof. Like I said, I love Uncle Martin, I think he’s done a great job for this nation, but hey, you can’t just say thing without proving them,” Anas said.
“First of all, I’ll be very proud if I’ll get collaboration with Government to investigate any arm of Government. I’ll take it quickly and be very proud of it, and I’ve said so in the past, in the works that I have done when I’ve collaborated with the Government, so, there’s nothing new there. However, in this judicial scandal, I have not collaborated with the State, neither have I shown any video to Members of Parliament,” he told Sammy Darko.
