Jislah Financial Services, a leading non-bank financial institution in the country, has been admitted into the Ghana Club 100.
The company was admitted into the elite league of the 100 most successful companies on the back of being adjudged the ?Third Fastest Growing Company for the Year 2011? at the recently-held Ghana Club 100 awards.
Mr. Emmanuel T. Obeng, Chief Executive Officer of the company, said admission into the elite Club is a testimony to the performance of the company over the years. He noted that the award will also spur the company on to do more in this and the coming years.
The company, which started in a small office in Accra, now has offices at Makola in the central business district of Accra; Takoradi; Tema; and its ultra-modern head-office at Kokomlemle in Accra.
Mr. Obeng said the company?s profit after tax has increased substantially at an average of 105 percent year-on-year.? The loans and advances portfolio has also increased, at an average of 231 percent annually.
The Ghana Club 100 is an annual compilation of the top-100 companies in the country. The ranking has been presented since 2008, aimed at developing an open information culture within the Ghanaian Corporate sector, in view of providing incentives for improved corporate performance.
