The items included rice, oil, tin tomatoes, tinned fish and beverages.

Miss Amarquaye said Karpowership Ghana Limited is a socially responsible company that is committed to giving back to the community since it began operations last year.
“As a strategic partner, Karpowership is committed to Ghana’s development and will continue providing all Ghanaians reliable, sustainable, and affordable electricity,” she added.
The Imam of Tema New Town sheik Abdallah Umar Ibn Abubakar, who received the items, thanked Karpowership for the gesture.
“We are so happy Karpowership thought of us in this festive season. These items will be shared among all the families in this community,” he said.
Karpowership says it is committed to supply sustainable and affordable electricity to Ghana, since it began producing power in December, 2015.
Karadeniz Powership Ayşegül Sultan, with an installed capacity of 235MW, has been running efficiently and has been producing, on average, 210 MW of uninterrupted electrical energy.
