Kenyan security forces said Monday they have launched a major manhunt for three dangerous terror suspects who escaped from the prison.

The police said they are searching for three terror suspects who escaped from Kamiti Maximum Prison early Monday, sending panic in the security agencies in the country.

The arrest comes after Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on Nov. 12 directed security agencies to step up vigilance and surveillance amid the unfolding security situation in the east Africa region. Enditem
