KKDA Supports Kpone Traditional Council.

cedi ghanaAlhaji Antiaye Tetteh , Chief Executive, Kpone Katamanso District Assembly (KKDA) has donated items worth Ghc 4 000 to the Kpone Traditional Council (KTC) in preparation for the celebration of the Homowo festival.
The items presented were 10 bags of maize and 10 gallons of palm oil for the preparation of the traditional food, Kpoikpoi.
Alhaji Tetteh also presented an undisclosed amount of money to both the KTC and the 10 clans in the district, to enable them purchase fish and fire wood to complement the items received.
He said the items given would be shared equally among the clans irrespective of the size.
He disclosed that Mr Afotey Agbo, Greater Accra Regional Minister, has also donated several cartons of drinks, three bags of maize, several gallons of cooking oil and a bull to the KTC.
He advised the residents of the district to maintain personal hygiene to prevent the cholera outbreak in the area.
Alhaji Tetteh called on all to maintain unity to ensure uninterrupted development to improve the living condition of the people.
Mr. Harry Attipoe, Registrar, KTC, who received the items on behalf of the council, expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture by the Assembly and the Regional Minister.
