Media personality and creative entrepreneur Kofi Okyere-Darko, actress and parliamentary candidate Ebi Bright, and Rex Owusu Marfo, also known as Rex Omar, have been appointed National Democratic Congress (NDC) spokespersons for the Creative Arts sector.

This announcement follows the NDC’s official launch of its 2024 election manifesto on Saturday in Winneba, Central Region.

As outlined in the party’s manifesto, the new appointees will focus on articulating the NDC’s vision for the creative arts. Their roles involve engaging with the media to explain and promote the party’s policies related to the sector.

As part of its commitment to advancing the creative arts and boosting the sector’s economy, the NDC has pledged to establish ‘The Black Star Experience’.

This initiative aims to create a premier Culture, Arts, and Tourism brand for Ghana, positioning the country as a top tourism destination.

The Black Star Experience will feature year-round celebrations across major entertainment, artistic, and educational events.
