Lucky Herbal Clinic branch in Koforidua has started a free health screening for people in the Eastern Region.
Patients who are recommended for medication after the screening also enjoyed discount of 33 per cent of the cost of the medication.
The exercise will end on March 20, 2019.
Mr Johnson Afari, the officer in-charge of the Koforidua branch of Lucky Herbal Clinic in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) said, the aim of the initiative was to reach out to people to access health care but needed some support.
Mr Afari said the clinic did not conduct surgeries and therefore where a patient required surgery, they were referred to other hospitals where surgery was practised.
He said the clinic had been in the Eastern Region for about five years now and promoted herbal medical practice in the country.
Mr Afari said, so far 120 people were screened in the exercise and called on all people in the Eastern Region and beyond to visit the clinic even after the exercise .
