Super Eagles striker Gambo Mohammed will be available for selection in the return leg CHAN qualifier against Cote d?Ivoire at the end of this month.
There were fears that the lanky striker would have joined up with Tunisian side Club African when the Eagles visit Abidjan by the end of the month.
But Kano Pillars chairman Abba Yola said that the processes leading up to his engagement by Club Africain would not have been completed before the match in Abidjan.
“Gambo would be available for the game against Cote d?Ivoire,” Abba Yola declared.
“He has not signed for any club yet. He has only indicated interest in the offer made by Club African. You know he has to go for medical, pass it before any formal signing is done and his ICT released, so it?s still a long way to go.”
Gambo was on target in the Eagles 4-1 spanking of the Ivorians in Kaduna last weekend.
