Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane insists Ghanaian duo Emmanuel Baffour and Mumuni Abubakar are quality players and could have a future at the club.

Midfielder Mumuni who had trials with Liverpool last season joined the Brazilians from Ghanaian side New Edubiase United last season but was limited to second team appearances.

While Baffour who won the Ghana Premier League Golden Shoe Award two seasons ago with 21 goals made just under five appearances for the club, failing to start a single game.

Mumuni has left the club to join Belgian Pro League side Cercle Brugge on a season-long loan deal with Baffour?s destination is not yet clear.

But Pitso Mosimane who is a former Bafana Bafana coach believes the pair are good players and they could still have a future at the club.

?Mumuni is a quality player and he is still young but I think he needs more time to adapt to the system and mature. Baffour on the other hand is a type of striker who should play as a second striker but he had a problem with that,? he said.

Baffour could also be loaned out to another club.
