The first accident happened outside a town called Otjiwarongo, about 255 kilometers from Windhoek in north-central region.
It involved a minibus that was carrying 13 people including the driver, and a delivery van that had two people.
According to the police, three people died on the scene, while the other 12 sustained serious injuries.
The second accident happened between two small towns of Rehoboth and Kalkrand that are about 195 kilometers from Windhoek in the south of the country.
The police said both cars that caught up fire had three passengers each, who were burnt beyond recognition. Enditem
