

The Chisen Foundation is a non-governmental organisation, which provides help to children with special needs and disabilities in the Ningo Prapam and Shai-Osudoku districts.
The donation forms part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the NLA to help the needy and the poor with special needs.
Mrs Maame Kesewaa Dolphin, Corporate Communications Manager at the NLA who presented the dummy check to the trustees of the foundation said most parents about children with special needs.
She said the money was meant to provide the needs and care for the children to able to live a meaningful life style.
Madam Cynthia Mawusi Boadi, Trustee of the Foundation said her outfit is taken care of 300 children with disability and special needs in the two areas.
She said the foundation liaises with the Department of Social Welfare and United Kingdom based organisation, which provide them with the necessary support and advice in care delivery.
Madam Boadi said the vision of the foundation is to help encourage and support the children by providing education, specialist advice, training equipment and general support.
It is also to encourage the children to focus on their abilities and finding independence for the children to live life to their full potential and contribution to the society.
