According to sources at the Supreme Court, the Petitioners challenging the results of the 2012 general elections, have concluded filing their address with the court Registrar.
We are informed that two of the lawyers from the legal team of the petitioners, brought 16 boxes, each containing legal documents and CD Roms to back their claims that the 2012 elections were indeed flawed and these were presented to the registrar.
As can be recalled, the Judges hearing the election petition at their last sitting, directed all the parties in the case to file their addresses by July 30, 2013.
Our sources indicated that the Respondents are however yet to file their addresses. They have until the close of day to do so.
