The Ntiamoah Foundation in its quest to promote quality education at Abirem and its environs has completed and handed over a 3-unit-classroom block with ancillary facilities to the Presbyterian Nursery and Kindergarten School.
The GHS 173,000.00 project comes with a rest room, store room, staff common room and wash rooms.
It is furnished with items, tables and chairs, computer, and mattresses.
In a short ceremony to officially hand over the project to the school, Mr. Robert Kwaku Appiah Asante, the Founder and Executive Chairman, Ntiamoah Foundation, said the classroom block would be named and dedicated to Martha Adwoa Badua, the brain behind the project.
He said his foundation, whose priority was to promote quality education delivery to the people of Abirem, had also renovated and furnished the Mamanso Islamic School in the area.
Mr. Appiah entreated the headmaster and the school authorities to work hard to maintain the facility to the benefit of many children.
He said the foundation was also awarding scholarships to students, constructing schools and providing quality healthcare delivery to inhabitants in the district.
Mr. Emmanuel Kwabena Agbeko, the Head teacher of the school, thanked the foundation for the gesture but pleaded that more furniture
be provided for the Junior High School to ensure effective teaching and learning in the school.
He said accommodation was a major challenge teachers faced and urged the assembly to come to their aid.
Nana Asiedu Akurah II, the Chief of Ntronang, applauded the foundation for providing the classroom block to the community and urged the teachers to use the facility in providing quality education delivery.
He advised parents to put priority on the education of their wards by providing them with the necessary items to enable to them achieve their goals.
