Pillars won the first clash at home 5-1.
The Nigerian champions will now take on CAF Confederation Cup holders AC Leopards of Congo Brazzaville in the next round of the competition.
Leopards sent packing CF Mounana of Gabon 2-1 on aggregate after they lost the second leg 1-0 in Gabon also on Sunday.
Pillars will host the first tie between March 15 and 17, while the return leg in Brazzaville will be played on the weekend of April 5 and 7.
On Sunday in Bangui, the game between Pillars and the Central African champions was goalless after 53 minutes before it was held up for about half an hour following torrential downpour.
Two-goal hero from the first leg Nafiu Ibrahim and defender Samuel Tswanya were outstanding for the visitor, who were cheered on by a large contingent of Nigerians resident in CAR despite the pouring rain.
