Over 1,000 global financial experts and researchers from the market’s leading corporate, banking and financial services organizations were gathered at the conference to discuss key market issues within agribusiness, hard commodities, risk mitigation and infrastructural development.

The conference would help to promote and increase quality of doing business across West Africa, Hope Hongo, a senior director with the Nigeria Export and Import (NEXIM) Bank told Xinhua on the sideline of the event.
Speaking on Industrializing Africa through power manufacturing and infrastructure projects, Hongo said the need to develop solid minerals in Nigeria had become necessary as it was the only future of this country.
He said considering the potentialities of solid minerals in the country, the economy in the years to come will rely solely on solid minerals.
The expert told Xinhua that the need to diversify to solid minerals sector was necessary, looking at what was happening in the oil sector where the prices had dropped drastically.
“Our view about the industrialization are that there are low hanging fruits that we can achieve and make sure that we do bulk volume export, especially on solid minerals and agricultural products,” he added. Enditem
